On March 19, 2016, The Best of Africa photography exhibition, jointly hosted by South Africa's Department of Arts and Culture, China Africa International Business Investment Corporation, Department of Culture of Johannesburg, as well as tourism departments of South Africa, Namibia and Kenya, opened at the Enjoy Art Museum in Beijing.
Opening with performances of unique African style, the exhibition showcases the works of more than a dozen famous Chinese photographers who, for the time, entered Africa as a group and captured the memorable and fabulous moments on the continent with the camera.
The altogether 194 photography works featuring the wonderful sceneries of South Africa, Namibia and Kenya, were taken by 13 photographers: Altan Bagen, E Bo, Chi Yujie, Hou Heliang, Hu Wugong, Ji Longsheng, Li Ruili, Li Zhichao, Suo Jiulin, Wang Yue, Wu Jianxin, Yang Yueluan, Zhang Tongsheng.
The photographers began their African trip in April 2015, and shot these amazing images for exhibit.
The exhibition wraps up on March 21.
